The Candi Bar by Mia Goldenson offers a delicious assortment of all things candy – the perfect candy buffet.  I love how her business card has under her name “candy curator” – what a fun title.

We met these two wonderful vendors when The Live Photobooth was at The Millennium Scottsdale Resort & Villas.  Thank you Jill Pierce for including us in such a fun event.  If we do say so ourselves, our photo booth is the perfect accessory for a holiday party, corporate event, wedding, bar/bat mitzvah or just about any gathering that has more than a few people!

What is better than 70′s vintage? I mean come on…who doesn’t love a white satin jacket, hairy chest and multiple gold chains? This past Saturday night The Live Photo Booth went 70′s style.

I have to say that this crowd had some really, really authentic costumes. They did the 70′s thing well.

I know the actual theme was 70′s disco, but what I liked about this group is that they incorporated all of the 70′s style into one room. The outfits ran the gamut – from a beautiful gold lame outfit with a 10ft wing span that looked like she just stepped out of Studio 54, to a San Francisco beatnik type that had a cool hippie vibe, to a 70′s style liberal woman complete with her Jimmy Carter for President pin, to a Texan used car salesman with cowboy hat and big gaudy big gold watch, to a group dressed as ABBA, to a Larry the Lounge Lizard type (you could just hear the awful pick up lines), to kids with big afros, lots of gold, lots of polyester, lots of bell bottoms, lots of platform shoes, lots of ‘staches, just LOTS of tacky 70′s garb!  I loved it!

Our latest photo booth was The Phoenix Suns Fan Appreciation Night at the US Airways Arena.  Even though The Suns were not headed to the playoffs, the fans were in good spirits, ready to watch the last game of the season.  A bit different than last year’s season! The Live Photobooth was the perfect way to capture the loyalty these wonderful fans have to their favorite basketball team. We had painted faces, handmade purses in a basketball printed material, a tote bag full of personal Suns mementos, Steve Nash jerseys, handmade signs, season tickets holders for nearly 40 years, young, old, lots of purple and orange.

But the coolest part of the night was when one fan got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend – while having his picture taken in the photo booth! That is the first time I have ever seen a live proposal.  How many people have pictures of their marriage proposal? This couple does!! Since I am such a huge sports fan, I think it is such an adorable idea! Keith had a cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee for me when he proposed, anyone who knows me well knows how happy that made me!  I’ll share the series of proposal pictures in a future post.

That was so sweet!
