Wow – what a fun crowd on Saturday night at Stonebridge Manor! There is nothing we like more than being really busy. Busy usually means the guests are taking full advantage of The Live Photobooth. And boy oh boy did this these folks. They had a blast and so did we.

The photo booth was set up in the ideal location – adjacent to the bar! Three hours passed in the blink of an eye. And my favorite part of the evening – the bride and groom participated as much as the guests. I LOVE that!

Wow, if I could freeze the weather here in Arizona – right here – this place would have the greatest weather in the whole wide world.

Evening temps in the 70′s, slight breeze, the perfect weather to be outside on the covered shutter patio at The Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix. Add in a wedding party, family and friends and the photo booth was lively till the party ended.

Well, what can I say? Another fun evening with a great group of people. This week The Live Photobooth had the good fortune of being part of a gorgeous wedding masterfully put together by wedding and event planner, Jen Thye of Imoni Events. Such a perfect evening, we were adjacent to the lovely patio area at the Arizona Ballroom at The Hyatt Scottsdale Gainey Ranch, inside yet with the feeling of being outside. The weather this time of year is just outstanding, the ideal time of year for a wedding in Arizona for sure!

The crowd seemed to enjoy themselves. The photo booth was in full swing beginning with the cocktail hour. Lots of laughter, smiles and fun! Puts a smile on my face every time!

Phoenix Bride & Groom featured The Live Photobooth on their blog last week – I love how they declared that The Live Photobooth as a reception “must have”! We couldn’t agree more.

Why do we love The Live Photobooth so much?

First, it’s something for your guests to DO. Your shy uncle who doesn’t dance isn’t relegated to sitting at his table or stalking the cake table. The kids who run around all night, hitting the dance floor, visiting the bathroom, bugging the DJ, etc. can turn to the live photobooth as a creative outlet.

Second, it creates moments. You can have unlimited pictures with any and all of your guests. They probably weren’t all present during your formal picture time so the photobooth is a great way to make sure you have the photos of the special people you want photos of. And when you get folks in front of that camera, they let loose in a whole new way. Think your grandmother is traditional? Just wait until she gets into the live photobooth!

Third, you can show your fun side as a couple. Many couples have a difficult time loosening up in front of the camera during portraits due to pre-wedding  jitters or the stress of the day so after the tension of the ceremony and formal pictures has dissipated (sometimes thanks to a few glasses of champagne), you can let loose and show your silly side!

Finally, the live photobooth is practical. That’s right! I said practical. The images provide a momento and wedding favor for your guests, you can get a “Thank You” picture taken to print and send to guests post-wedding, and often, couples choose to have the photobooth as part of their entertainment for the evening. For lack of a better phrase, it “kills many birds with one stone!”.

The photo booth is such a perfect fit for all sorts of events, especially holiday parties! A backyard Christmas party in Phoenix was the perfect spot for The Live Photobooth! How lucky are we that we have such amazing weather that we can have outdoor holiday parties in December? (I just love the red back drop, such a perfect fit – so festive!)

A photo booth is a perfect fit for a wedding reception, but it is also a lot of fun for company parties! This ultra fun group has had The Live Photobooth as the “entertainment” at their holiday party two years in a row! I think I might have laughed as much as they did, a fun time was had by all!

A beautiful wedding. An even more beautiful bride and groom with a very enjoyable group of friends and family. As always, we are so pleased that the bride and groom (+guests)  took full advantage of the photo booth – a great series of photos. Lots and lots of fun.

A fun way to spend an evening: A photo booth at The Paradise Valley Country Club. I think we have just as much fun as the wedding guests do. Everyone is smiling, laughing, joking – the fun is very contagious!

Last week the photo booth was at El Chorro Lodge in Paradise Valley. A beautiful ceremony, a very lovely bride and groom, a warm group of family and friends, and a gorgeous reception were the perfect mix for an evening of fun.

Amy Mancuso did an amazing job – a successful afternoon and evening at one of my now favorite spots to have a wedding. The photo booth was the perfect fit.

Darcy + Chuck are such a fun, sweet couple. We are so happy to have had the pleasure of being part of their special day. Thank you Victoria of Victoria Canada Wedding and Events for including us!

It must give a wedding coordinator a heart attack when the weather forecast changes mid week and is now calling for high wind and rain. But I guess one of the reasons you hire the best coordinator in the valley is that you trust she will figure things out.

And she did.

The forecast did not disappoint. Very high winds and torrential downpours. But, Victoria handled the crisis with grace and ease – and lots of solid planning. You would never know looking at these pictures that: A. we were still outside in a covered courtyard B. the main tent that covered the reception area was about to blow away at any moment C. the wind and rain were absolutely crazy! D. the bride and groom and all of their guests never even seemed to notice. Fun was had by all!
